I am honoured to represent my Haíɫzaqv and Smelqmix roots here at Okanagan College. My communities have shaped who I am, and I strive to carry the strength, resilience, and values they have instilled in me both on and off the court.
Basketball has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in a community where the game brings people together, I’ve seen the positive impact it has had not only on me but on so many youth and families around me. Coming from a basketball family, I’ve been fortunate to have role models who have inspired and supported me throughout my journey.
As I continue my journey at Okanagan College, I hope to make my family, my Haíɫzaqv and Smelqmix communities, and Okanagan College, while showing younger Indigenous athletes that with determination, hard work, and support, they can achieve their goals too.
