Waý my name is Teigan Peterson, I am a proud sqilxʷ athlete from the Lower Similkameen Indian Band. I have grown up around basketball my whole life, my mom actually played in a basketball tournament while she was pregnant with me! I have competed at the All Native Basketball Tournament with the Similkameen Starbirds women’s team, where we are 3 year consecutive champions.
I love to compete and represent myself, my family and community with dignity and responsibly. I am grateful for the opportunity to play with the coyotes while studying business. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated and goes a long way in building our community.
